A300 / A305
Here is the guide for
the the A300/A305 series. This is the esiest way to get rid of vista.
Once you download the guide
cross compare your model
with the Everest Report (PSAG0U) by reading the instructions, remember
this guide uses
the slipstream method
with the most common SATA driver for the Series and the most dificult driver to
run under XP
which is the Realtek HD sound
controller.
A300 / A305
/
X200 models:
if your A300 / A305 / X200 comes with a 960 or 965 / GM965 (X3100 video) / PM965 chipset their sata driver is 82801HBM/HEM (ICH8-M)
it will also use a REALTEK high definiton audio controller therefore you should not experience problems downgrading with the
procedure described in the guide.
X200 PSPBUC (Intel PM965 / ALC268) apply the same steps in the pdf.
X200 XP NVIDIA driver modded inf when video driver fails apply after downgrading to XP by replacing the modded inf file. read more (post #2)
keep in mind some models need more tweaking than the PSAG0U .
